Job Title: Plant Accountant

Job Description

This position coordinates various plant accounting functions, including cost accounting, monthly closing, inventory controls, plant production reporting, and cost analysis. You will maintain and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger in SAP. You will also develop various aspects of the plants cost budget and ensure that the cost and general accounting systems are updated to be consistent with the budget. This role is responsible for providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

+ Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance

+ 2+ years of reconciliations experience

+ 2+ years of variance/cost analysis experience within labor, inventory, overhead, or COGS

+ 1+ year of budgeting experience

+ Create pivot tables and Vlookups in Excel

+ Proficient within a large scale ERP
