The Training Intern position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of training programs on assigned training projects. They also maintain, organize and maximize learning assets in LMS (HR Connect), systems & repositories according to Training Department.

Key Responsibilities (What/How):
  • Assist on maintaining and supporting good practices to create, plan and storage training records in the LMS (HR Connect).
  • Provide help and support to the LMS (HR connect) users.
  • Assist on creating training materials. (SOP's, Documents, presentations, videos etc.)
  • Assist various departments on their learning and development processes.
  • Read and interpret standard operations procedures to implement learning approaches.
  • Diagnose and assist on solutions to training needs.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Other duties, activities or responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements

Educational Background:

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred: finished or enrolled in an educational or related degree/certification program.

Technical Competencies:
  • Moderate to high proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and video editing software to create training materials for various departments.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient with internal database and tracking software.
  • Ability to read and interpret internal SOPs, production materials, and operations documents.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and good mechanical abilities.
  • Statistical Analysis skills with the ability to establish and audit against goals.

Physical Demands:

This position requires frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 - 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The position requires frequent lifting, walks and stands for long periods of time, and assists strenuous physical labor under extreme temperatures. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
