Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Criminal Justice or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three to seven (3-7) years of sales, marketing, or lead generation experience.
  • Prior experience with criminal justice and treatment systems at the local, state or federal level.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain customer relationships.
  • Collaborative abilities with cross-functional team management proficiency.
  • Well-developed reasoning, problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills and abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and to prioritize appropriately with focus on meeting all deliverables, timelines and sales goals.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail with minimal error rates.
  • Ability to do research, interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and create high quality sales contact.
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Ability to quickly learn other software, such as Adobe in Design.
  • Ability to quickly develop working knowledge of Company products and services and to clearly explain all capabilities and benefits.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of criminal justice and treatment systems at the local, state and federal levels.
  • Proficient with negotiation, presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Business writing skills. Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style preferred.
  • Excellent facilitation, organization, and time management skills, including the ability to schedule and manage the entire sales lifecycle and related processes.
  • Ability to think strategically with regard to sales opportunities and penetration of new markets.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Responsibilities:

Summary

Generates leads for the Sales Team utilizing direct relationships with correctional agencies and research of local judicial districts to penetrate the electronic monitoring (EM) market from that source. Identifies opportunities and engages potential customers nationwide though phone calls, on-site meetings, reseller partnerships, attendance at local, state and regional conferences, and targeted marketing strategies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Researches local criminal justice jurisdictions nationwide to identify customer needs and develop strategic sales approaches via direct or partner relationships.
  • Collaborates with Business Development Directors, the Proposal Director and the Marketing Team to execute strategic sales activities and push-pull lead generation campaigns.
  • Engages existing customers and local partners to identify local criminal justice jurisdictions for potential sales campaigns. Communicates the features and benefits of Company products and services available to meet customer needs.
  • Arranges and participates in on-site customer visits, sales presentations and trade conferences to educate customers about the features and benefits of Company products and services.
  • Passes leads onto Business Development Directors and local partners to ensure follow up.
  • Manages, tracks and reports on sales opportunities and conversions resulting for job efforts using Salesforce.com.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Pay:
Pay USD $90,000.00/Yr. to USD $110,000.00/Yr.
