If so, we'd like to hear from you We have openings for Heavy Equipment Operators in Avon, Avon Lake, Westlake, Bay Village, Lorain, Amherst, Sheffield, Cleveland, Brookpark, Olmsted Falls, Elyria, Berea, Rocky River, Lakewood, and much more Heavy Equipment Operators are responsible for providing emergency snow removal services for our clients by conducting ongoing snow and ice removal tasks during all hours of the day and night, in all outdoor weather conditions. This first-responder position is an essential service that makes an incredible impact on the local community by allowing businesses of all types (including hospitals, doctor's offices, grocery stores, and banks) to continue functioning as normal. Snow events can range between 4 hours to 16 hours in duration. This position is seasonal and will last from approximately November 18, 2024 - April 30, 2025, depending on weather. Potential for full-time, year-round employment for those interested. It's OK to have another job. Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment such as compact or full-size wheel loaders, and skid steers, to smaller tractors and UTVs to clear snow & ice from walks, drives, and parking lots according to the specified contracts and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and safe job site, while ensuring the current landscape and property are not damaged in the efforts to remove snow Maintain and care for company-provided equipment, tools, and vehicles Attend training classes and seminars as requested by management
