Analyst, Supply Chain Planning

Position is responsible for optimizing planning and scheduling material to meet customer needs. Successful candidate responsible for both supply and demand of a designated portfolio of products. Scope includes analyzing customer demand patterns and optimizing supply chain capability to support customer needs as well as developing inventory strategies balancing service requirements with investment and risk. Above to be accomplished in accordance with established guidelines and using ADI enterprise planning systems and processes.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review capacity and material feasible manufacturing starts schedules utilizing enterprise applications and in accordance with agreed business rules
  • Analyze daily reports to track WIP for material, identifying any bottlenecks or delays with the supply of material and develop action plans to minimize risk of decommits to customers
  • Work through designated global factory interfaces to drive supply chain improvements in support of worldwide customer service and business objectives
  • Respond to inquiries from customer service or sales with respect to supply status
  • Work with manufacturing operations and the business unit to implement monthly/quarterly manufacturing plans to align build schedule with customer need dates
  • Analyze large sets of data to improve supply chain delivery metrics
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years' work experience, preferably in supply chain, manufacturing, customer service, or marketing. Experience in semiconductor or high tech industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent analytical and communications skills
  • Experience with QlikView, SQL or Tableau a plus
  • Ability to understand complex BOMs
  • Ability to read MRP and action items accordingly
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Planning systems experience including SAP, Promis, SQL, MS Office, and Enterprise systems is preferred
