Job Title: Senior Accountant - Healthcare Industry

Position Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions within the healthcare industry. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact their mission of providing high-quality healthcare services to their patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and healthcare industry regulations.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations relevant to the healthcare industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Stark Law).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
