Job Title: Senior Accountant - Healthcare Industry

Position Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions within the healthcare industry. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact their mission of providing high-quality healthcare services to their patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and healthcare industry regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations relevant to the healthcare industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Stark Law).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
