Driving Growth and Patient Focus:
The Director of Transfer Center plays a critical role in:
Developing and implementing strategic plans to expand the Transfer Center's reach and effectiveness in meeting patient needs.
Partnering with the National Director to create innovative initiatives and outreach programs that drive transfer growth and development.
Leading the creation of patient-centered Transfer Center protocols focused on timely, safe, and EMTALA-compliant transfers.
Collaborating with the Transfer Center Manager to ensure seamless execution of policies, procedures, and standards for efficient transfer coordination.
Providing ongoing oversight and support to the Transfer Center team, fostering a strong and collaborative work environment.
Monitoring and analyzing transfer data to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.

Qualifications:
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), Business Administration, Management, or a related field (or equivalent minimum experience requirements).
Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
Experience:
Required: Five years of experience in nursing management in a hospital setting, with three years of supervisory experience.
Preferred: Prior experience managing or directing a Transfer Center program.
License/Certifications:
Required: Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Preferred: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills and Qualities:
Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in healthcare operations and regulatory requirements (EMTALA).
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
