Description:
The Subcontractor Sourcing Specialist is a support position in the Pre-Construction Services department primarily responsible for sourcing and contacting new prospective bidders. In addition to sourcing new prospects, this position also is responsible for contacting and maintaining relationships with Parkway's existing subcontractor base to secure commitments to bid specific projects.
•Primary Duties include:
o Support the Pre-Construction Team in sourcing subcontractors who will commit to bidding on Parkway
projects throughout the US
o Develop sourcing plans and network sourcing strategy for specific trades
o Contact prospective subcontractors by telephone to discuss scope of project
o Secure at least three subcontractor bids per trade
o Provide a daily updated contact log to the project lead for each project
o Maintain persistence in obtaining subcontractors to bid
o Manage subcontractor solicitation records
o Assist with maintaining good business relationships with subcontractors
•Assist Pre-Construction team members on bid day by contacting subcontractors who have committed to
bidding the specific project
•Create, maintain, and update subcontractor database with current information, including address, phone
number and contact(s)
•Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner
•Assume additional responsibilities and additional assignments per supervisor's direction
•Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college level coursework preferred

Requirements:
•Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
•Success implementing multiple sourcing strategies
•Familiarity with LinkedIn and other social media platforms to source & establish subcontractor relationships
•Able to Communicate (both oral & written) with co-workers, management, subcontractors and others in a
courteous and professional manner
•Possess excellent analytical and reasoning skills
•Possess high organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•Has strong time management skills and able to meet critical deadlines
•Able to work independently
•Capable of successfully working in a fast-paced work environment
