**Part-Time Member Services Attendant**

at Stone Barns Center Pocantico Hills, NY **Job Title:** Part-Time Member Services Attendant **Location:** Stone Barns Center in Pocantico Hills, NY **Benefits:** Sick time, Life insurance, 401k savings and retirement plan **The Member Services Attendant** will guide and assist visitors at the Stone Barns Center. They will provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive visitor experience. **Supervisor:** Director of Member Services & Events; Member Services Manager

**Employment Classification:** Part-Time/Hourly, Non-exempt

**Frequency of Pay:** Bi-weekly

**Rate:** $15 per hour

**Schedule:** Four days, Thursday through Sunday, Approximately five to seven hours per shift

**Responsibilities:**

* Greet, orient and direct visitors to the welcome desk by way of the gatehouse

* Be a resource for visitors to the Center and give general information by phone and in person

* Engage visitors and encouraging membership and program participation

* Assist visitors with farm share pick ups

* Operate the point of sales system

* Host visitors on field trips

* Answer inquiries about and processing sales for:

+ Memberships and gift memberships

+ Programs, classes and events

* Close out and generate end-of-day reports

* Perform general housekeeping duties

* Restock and maintain farm stand and welcome desk

* Provide seasonal coverage at the gatehouse and greet visitors

* Other duties as needed

* Passionate about the work and mission of Stone Barns

* Excellent with communication skills, have a positive and friendly attitude, able to multitask, and be comfortable working with the public

* Experience in retail sales and/or customer service is strongly preferred, but a passion for the work and mission of Stone Barns is more important.

* Applicants must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and the Internet

* The candidate should be able to lift up to 50lbs and be comfortable standing for hours at a time
