The role:
The

Manager, Investor Reporting

is

responsible for managing and executing all aspects of Selenes compliance with investor, agency, regulatory (Reg AB & USAP) requirements for reporting & remittance. As an effective leader they collaboratively establish team goals and objectives, delegate as appropriate to direct reports, to ensure investor and agency guidelines and requirements are adhered to and met. This leader is an expert communicator, leveraging the best tool(s) to understand, convey information, and respond to requests. Ultimately, this leader sets the bar for excellent execution and inspires the team to maintain high-performance standards by proactive coaching, just in time feedback, and empowering team members to actively hold one another accountable to meet and exceed the standards. The manager is a motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

How you will contribute:
Ensures all investor reporting & remittance functions are performed in compliance with agency, investor, regulatory and/or company guidelines.
Prepares and/or oversee the preparation of assigned monthly reports & remittances for various investors which could include FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, Private MBS or Special Servicing.
Provides analytical solution support for all investor

reporting/reconciliation

concerns.
Manage and monitor advance balances.
Reviews and approve investor remittance reports and wires.
Continuously reviews processes and procedures and proactively recommends new ones to management and other departments within the company to improve quality.
Ensures strict adherence to the Agency and Private Investor Servicing Agreements, Regulation AB, USAP and other guidelines for timely and accurate reporting, remitting, and reconciling.
Maintains relationships with investor contacts and provide a high level of customer service.
Collaborate on technology planning efforts aimed at streamlining business processes, improving efficiency and performance.
Directs staff on execution of senior management defined department goals.
Provides Investor reporting & remittance KPI productivity reporting to senior management.
Creates and maintain policy and procedures documents for the department.
Routinely keeps abreast of latest relevant investor, agency reporting and/or remittance requirement changes.
Develops and ensure that proper internal controls exist and are applied consistently to prevent potential inaccurate or late reporting or remittance.
Oversees intra-quality control initiatives and remediate any findings, as appropriate.
Executes on audit exams both with internal and external business partners.
Ensures reporting exceptions are resolved and controls put in place to prevent future occurrences.
Maintains knowledge of and adherence to Selenes internal compliance policies and procedures.
Provides leadership to department and ensure performance standards are maintained, while providing consistent coaching and feedback.
Identifies skills required for each direct report and develop those skillsets.
Evaluates staffing needs and make organizational change recommendations, where appropriate.
Delivers salary recommendations for department, as applicable.
Executes on other duties, as assigned.
Trains new team members across the broader team

Skills you will bring:
5+ years of Investor Reporting experience.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
4-10 years related experience in a mortgage loan servicing management assignment with progressive leadership responsibilities.
Ability to accurately amortize varied loan types.
In depth MSP knowledge with a minimum of 3 years of recent MSP experience with an emphasis on the investor reporting workstation.
Demonstrated track record of building successful teams and delivering expected results.
Requires excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to influence and drive results.
Strong leadership and people management skills solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details.
Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment.
Outstanding attention to detail is required.
Ability to thrive in high pressure, ambiguous, short turnaround time environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superior analytical and research skills.
Proficient skills utilizing MS Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.)
Ability to effectively partner with various departments, management, and vendor liaisons.
