Engineering Design Technologies, Inc., a leading engineering and design firm, is seeking a Financial Controller to join our team. As the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports. This is a critical position that requires strong financial acumen and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets
Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Develop and implement financial controls and process improvement initiatives
Provide financial analysis and guidance to support decision-making processes
Manage relationships with external auditors, banking institutions, and other financial stakeholders
Lead and supervise a team of finance professionals
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management in Construction or Engineering
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
Experience in the engineering or construction industry is a plus
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
