Director - Project Management

The Director Project Management will play a critical role in establishing, overseeing and executing all aspects of Medline Finance's Project Management office.This includes supporting all the Finance organization's projects from initial planning to post completion project management activities.This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strong project management expertise and a proven track record of delivering projects on time.This person will work collaboratively across the Finance organization, cross-functionally across the enterprise and with external advisors to drive the successful completion of projects within a specified timeframe.This role reports directly to the Global Controller.

Responsibilities:

•Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan outlining key milestones, timelines and deliverable for all project

•Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery

•Establish and maintain strong relationships with workstream leaders and their team members to facilitate communication and alignment

•Coordinate with cross functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Controllership, Investor Relations, HR and external partners to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout a project's journey

•Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership and the steering committee on project status, milestones and key metric

•Manage and monitor detailed project budget, including estimates of the resources and investments needed to achieve project goal

•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management practices and project outcome

Requirements

•The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience employing Project Management principle

•Proven track record of leading complex and multi workstream projects within the defined timeline

•A proven conceptual and strategic thinker who is capable of distilling, packaging, and presenting complex information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels


•Entrepreneurial and results oriented with a willingness to roll up their sleeves in a fast paced, dynamic environment

•Proficiency in project management tool

•A BA/BS is required; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
