Longview Regional Medical Center is currently hiring RN PRN for the Acute Care Dialysis department. If so, you just came across the perfect place What We Offer: * Competitive compensation * Education Assistance * Student Loan Repayment Program * 401K, Health, Dental, Life Insurance * PTO Job Duties: * Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care * Assists physicians during examinations and procedures * Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse * Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills * Relies on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks and accomplish goals Minimum Requirements: * Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred * Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire * Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required within 90 days of hire. * 2 years acute dialysis RN experience preferred Who We Are: Longview Regional Medical Center is your community healthcare provider, a 224-bed facility.
