Overview

Quest Software Public Sector is seeking a driven Federal Field Marketing Manager to coordinate all our marketing activities in support of our key growth initiatives. This position requires a “can do” attitude, someone with great people skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and projects. The candidate should be a proactive, self-starter, and be able to support a fast-paced growing sales and information security company within a federal government focused environment.

This position will manage our field marketing budget, execute on facilitating the use of that budget with QSPSI sales personnel, and coordinate with multiple corporate marketing resources supporting our federal efforts and their respective product business units. The Federal Marketing Manager will hit the ground running every day with our QSPSI go-to-market (GTM) in mind. The person needs to offload our executive management and AE’s from the myriad of marketing related logistics to allow our sales team to focus on the sales execution. They should be able to handle 90% of the day-to-day decisions using our GTM as a guideline. The goal is QSPSI pipeline development as measured by YoY growth in bookings and revenues.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for managing the strategic and operational objectives of the group from a marketing standpoint.

Management of all fed specific marketing activities, m anage the QSPSI annual marketing budget Partner with cross-BU, Quest Software, and One Identity marketing resources to maximize pipeline generation Make recommendations to QSPSI management on activities that will optimize our marketing spend in direct support of QSPSI GTM Work closely with all QSPSI personnel to optimize the use of our marketing investments. Assist in the distribution of inbound leads Facilitate pre/post outreach to event attendees Focus on facilitating pipeline development in support of QSPSI growth initiatives. Conferences/Events management Partner Activities Website development Coordinate Blogs, Podcasts, and Social Media Outreach Coordinate thought leader panels, interviews, and joint events with key federal executives Create and conduct targeted marketing Campaigns Develop Booth/Signage tailored to our QSPSI GTM Work with our executive management and technical thought leaders to develop high impact collateral in support of our customer’s mission. Optimize business/product specific marketing campaigns for use in QSPSI pipeline generation activities. Management of QSPSI SWAG and Giveaways Coordinate Digital/Social Media Outreach Participate with executive leadership in developing messaging and GTM positioning Communication/PR Coordinate Articles/Interviews Plan and participate in User Group Meetings Coordinate Customer Appreciation Events Plan Partner Appreciation Events Develop Brand Awareness Campaigns Utilize QSPSI SFDC to develop, monitor, and analyze fed specific metrics to validate return on fed specific marketing investments. Develop counteroffensive marketing campaigns targeting competitive GTM initiatives and messaging Coordinate QSPSI specific education, training, team events Assist in planning QSPSI virtual team building events

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.com a plus Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements Track record of identifying improvements and completing projects on schedule
