POSITION SUMMARY

The International Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the creation and management of global marketing activities and communications.This role will maintain, communicate, and assist in the creation and execution of global marketing calendars and creative materials for the CKE International team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

May perform any or all of the following duties:

  • Leads day-to-day communication and execution with social media agencies.
  • Spearheads merchandising creation (including competitive benchmarking)
  • Designs and presents marketing presentations, especially social, merchandising and asset updates.
  • Ensures global calendars are up-to-date and communicated.
  • Supports product and lifestyle creative shoots with marketing and culinary innovation teams.
  • Provides logistical and marketing support for key market franchise marketing meetings.
  • Owns and manages the international asset library, including delegating library access control.
  • Assists with brand communication with outside vendors and property owners.
  • Supports the scheduling, logistics and execution of international franchise marketing meetings and functions.
  • Interfaces with key marketing vendors (e.g., social, merchandising, etc.) and manages communication flows between service providers and CKE teams.
  • Tracks and facilitates billing for activities within the International Advertising and Production Fund (IAPF)
  • Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Must possess approximately five (5) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of brand and/or product marketing.
  • Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience highly preferred
  • BA/BS Degree preferred.
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively with various contacts (internal and external)
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Must display strong organizational and strategic skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement tactics with positive business results.
  • Must have strong work ethics and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information.
  • Excellent skills within the Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Hybrid position at a fast paced, corporate office with a high volume of activity and a deadline driven environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Sitting for extended periods of time, using telephone, typing and/or operating a computer and/or mouse
  • Travels domestically and internationally as needed.
