We are looking for a Chief Accountant who will be responsible for one or more aspects of accounting for our North America sites. This individual will report directly to the CFO and be heavily involved in the department. Below are some of the responsibilities of the position. It's possible that some of these may not be directly done by the individual. This individual will not have direct reports but work closely with the accounting team.AccountingSupport the USA finance team by auditing invoices, providing month end data on time, and answering questions.Follow up on collection of invoices from external clientsCoordinate with other departments to address questions/problems related to billing processes.Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this positionPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Costing, pricing, and invoicingCalculate the cost of meals and calculation of sales prices offered to customers.Follow up and update customers' price gridsMake internal transmission of price updates in Winflight.Create flight masks in WF FlightsCreate and ensure appropriate price control on the 1st flights of the cycleWinflight & data sheetsManage the data in the company's ERP, WinflightCorrect existing data and articlesCreate new articlesPrint technical data sheet books for each department before starting a new cycle.Create and follow-up on cycle rotation tables by CieCreate plating guides and menus documents for each cycle of each company.Create boarding bills and/or ratio tables.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting field strongly preferred.3+ years of experience in process improvement or operational excellence preferred.QUALIFICATIONS:Have strong fluency in software and computers, including ExcelProficient understanding of accounting software and applicationsUnderstanding of costing and pricing processProactive personality and character demonstrating an ability to complete activitiesStrong organizational, problem - solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow, meet deadlines.Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.Good organizational and logical thinking skillsAbility to manage many tasks and to prioritize appropriately.Ability to work well under pressure and deadlinesAbility in showing self-initiative and follow-throughDetail-oriented and ability to see high picture#J-18808-Ljbffr
