Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Quality Improvement Coordinator responsible for analyzing, developing, monitoring and implementing clinical initiatives toachieve healthy outcomes as well as improving patient experience.Responsibilities:+ Performs duties and functions tocomply with quality improvement program according to state requirements+ Supports Quality Assurance Performancework plans and initiatives+ Schedules and assists with committeeand sub-committee preparation+ Assists in investigations and resolutionof member quality of care complaints+ Audits medical records and monitorsperformance measures for health care risk management, sentinel events and trends+ Oversees and monitors the developmentand implementation of the quality improvement program+ Applies and teaches techniques forsystem design, re-engineering, quality improvement, outcome measurements and statisticalanalysis+ Develops and maintains all appropriaterecords and documentation+ Evaluates and assures on-goingprogress in QI activities+ Maintains confidentiality of theinternal audit reports+ Promotes an awareness of theimportance of data validity and security+ Performs quality assurance checks ofdocumentation workflows and clinical data in the applicable clinical applicationssoftware+ Participates in planning andcoordination of specific training and educational programs as appropriate to QI needs of thefacility or service+ Performs other duties asassigned/necessary Minimum Requirements:+ Registered Nurse or Licensed PracticalNursing license required+ Certified Professional in HealthcareQuality preferred+ Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred+ Minimum of two years clinicalexperience preferred+ One year of experience in a healthcaresetting preferred+ Knowledgeof quality improvement methodologies used in healthcare+ Demonstrated critical thinking andproblem solving skills applied on the job+ Ability to manage multiple tasks andmeet deadlines+ Ability to work independently withminimal supervision+ Ability to effectively elicit/provideinformation to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors,co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may berequired+ Computerproficiency required Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits:+ Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
