We offer a supportive environment to expand your skills and develop your career within the dynamic Fortune#1 culture.Walmart's US Corporate Segment Finance Team is hiring a Director of Finance to support our innovations in Financial Planning and Strategy for our oversight and collaboration with divisions of Walmart US Commercial Finance. You'll lead Planning and Reporting across Corporate Segments and the ancillary projects leading into and resulting from our Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP). You'll work with finance and business senior leadership to develop short and long-term finance planning for Walmart US Stores and Clubs, Supply Chain, and the many teams across our massive national footprint. Reporting to the Senior Director of Walmart Corporate Segment FP&A, you'll manage a team of 5 or more Senior Managers. You'll work across the greater Walmart Commercial Finance & Strategy Team to streamline financial planning for accurate reporting by segment. You will rely on your FP&A skills, strategic planning, data visualization, storytelling, and insights to validate plan results with Senior and Executive Level management.How you'll make an impact:Advise Leadership and Partners on Segment Finance Planning by supporting Month End Close, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) priorities and providing a forward-looking lens for the businessConsolidate Financial Plans from Walmart Commercial Finance By Segment While Working with Group Finance Leadership and Executive Managers through a structured approach to solving problems and presenting relevant insights on geographic opportunities for growth and profitable solutionsMaximize Finance Strategy with financial forecasting and strategic planning to create viable financial models while maintaining Quality Assurance for financials across business sectorsIdentify Financial Gaps Between Segment Goals and Corporate Objectives while advising on financial risks associated with many projects by sectorUse New Tools to track indicators such as volume and productivityDevelop Talent and Leadership to attract new people and build our workforce, while promoting a positive environment for team members to growWhat you'll bring:You have 7-10+ years of financial planning or finance strategy support for major business operations within a large corporate environment or management consulting firm.Ideally, you have finance experience with Corporate Sector Finance, Retail Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Labor Planning, Inventory, Online Ordering, Revenue Growth Forecasting, Annual Operating Plan, or Long Range Plans with a retail chain or large company.You have experience building teams and managing people.You can manage process improvement and the standardization of financial models.You have experience developing scorecards, dashboards and clear financial metrics.You excel at presenting financial cases to partners and senior-level managementThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
