Personal Banker Specialists are responsible for assisting customers with day to day bank transactions, opening accounts, processing loan applications and closing loans.

Job duties

•Provides customers with information for retail and business accounts from opening to closing in a thorough, accurate and timely manner

•Processes loan applications and closes loans

•Process routine financial business for customers accurately and in a timely manner

•Provide quality customer service; promptly address customer concerns

•Listen to customers and recommend solutions that best fit their needs; cross-sell and make referrals when appropriate

•Establish and maintain relationships with customers

•Maintain current knowledge of bank products, services, policies, and procedures

•Prepares and maintains various reports and records

Requirements

Skills and Abilities

•Thorough understanding of the features and benefits of all bank consumer and business products and services

•Thorough understanding of bank operating policies and procedures which impact consumer services

•Experience providing excellent customer service

•Proficient communication - in person, over the phone, and via email

•Ability to multi-task and problem-solve and strong attention to detail

•Proficient math and computer skills

•Minimum of three years of banking experience (preferred)
