The Human Resources Generalist will provide support to the company's branch and manufacturing operations as it relates to all phases of employee relations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead new hire orientations. You'll be the face of our company for new hires, guiding them through paperwork, explaining company culture and policies, and ensuring a smooth start.
  • Answer employee questions on payroll, benefits, PTO, and policies. Assist with verifications and paperwork.
  • Champion company culture. Lead our branch and manufacturing culture team, organizing events and fostering a great work environment.
  • Participate in training to keep your HR skills sharp.
  • Assists with proper coding of invoices for HR purposes.
  • Lead the branch and manufacturing locations' chapter of the culture team. Actively participate in the creation, organization and implementation of culture team activities as well as nominate new members as the opportunity to do so presents itself.
  • Occasional Travel.
Qualifications & Required Skills
  • High School Diploma. Associates Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressive human resources experience, manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a multi-location organization
  • Knowledge of local and federal laws (EEOC, ADA, FMLA, Worker's Comp, etc.)
  • DOT knowledge a plus.
  • Strong computers skills, including HRIS and time and attendance experience.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Payroll and timekeeping experience a plus
  • Word, Excel and industry related applications as required.
  • Must be a self -starter and proactive individual.
  • Comfortable with speaking publicly.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus.
