We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist with experience in Workday to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with expertise in multi-state payroll compliance, garnishment compliance, pay statement compliance, and termination compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations across multiple states.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on garnishment compliance, including processing garnishments accurately and timely.
  • Review and audit pay statements to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage termination processes to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance strategies and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll and employment laws to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Utilize Workday system to maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll compliance, preferably in a multi-state environment.
  • Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS software.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
