Come build your career with usJob Summary and QualificationsUnder the general supervision of the Administrative Director of Rehabilitation Services, is responsible for the day to day operations of the hospital’s rehabilitation services, including department organization, staffing, workload/productivity management, fiscal management, quality/outcomes and clinical performance of the department(s). Participates as an integral member of the hospital’s and the Partnership's Rehabilitation Services management team. Included are expectations for provision of high quality, cost-effective programs and services that are responsive to customer needs.You will coordinate and direct the daily activities of the department(s)You will understand the principles & dynamics of financial management and take action that is consistent with both the short term and long term financial health of the department & the organizationYou will manage the human resources function of the department (s)You will understand operational and system requirements for ensuring and enhancing quality in the department(s).You will participate in marketing plan development and implementationYou will maintain effective communications with hospital physicians.You will assist to ensure that policies, procedures, and practices are in compliance with all appropriate regulatory and accrediting agencies.What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life SupportBachelors Degree - OT/PT/SLP requiredSpeech Therapist, or Speech Pathologist, or Licensed Physical Therapist, or Registered Occupational Therapist (ROT) license required upon hireSt. David's Medical Centerstands as a leading 435-bed facility, offering specialized care in neurology, neurosurgery, cardiac services, bariatric surgery, orthopedics, maternity and newborn services, and rehabilitation.
