ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Assists Operations with pro forma development, monthly internal and external financial reporting, standardization of financial reports, and other project assignments.
  • In conjunction with the CFO and the Operations management team, manages and evaluates the annual operating budgeting process for the company's senior housing facilities and support departments
  • Prepares monthly "Flash" projections, quarterly and annual and other projections as requested in cooperation with senior financial and operational management
  • Monitors and evaluates the monthly operating results of the company's operations and support departments for compliance with operating budget and prepares and assists in the evaluations of variance analysis
  • Tracks and trends company operational metrics for effective management and improved outcomes
  • Assists operations at all levels for improved outcomes.
  • Coordinates various financial activities between finance & accounting departments and operations senior and regional managers. Interacts closely with the ACI's senior management in the daily operations of the senior housing units.
  • Supports new technology development and aids in the evaluation and testing for the development of new reports and reporting systems
  • All Other Duties as Required
QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED
  • A master's degree in Finance or Healthcare Administration
  • Possess five (5) or more years of experience in Senior Housing Industry, Managed Care Contracting or the Healthcare REIT services industry.
  • Must have leadership experience in healthcare.
  • Must be comfortable presenting to and/or leading small groups.
  • Must have familiarity with the financial concepts (NPV/IRR, ROI, covenants, valuation).
QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in Long-term Care/ Skilled Nursing Industry; required
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in the role of financial analyst.
  • Seasoned analytical, system, and accounting skills (good understanding of GAAP principles).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced PC proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access & PowerPoint.
  • Strong multitasking ability and demonstrated self-management.
  • Ability to prepare all work in a timely manner with a high level of attention to detail.
