-Answering phones to respond to all inquiries made by patients, vendors, and other medical facilities. Must be able to handle 100 to 250 incoming calls per day

- Scheduling patient's appointment as required via telephone calls/podium

-Delivering clear and accurate messages to other departments

- Responding to patient's questions and needs by editing, canceling and rescheduling appointments according to clinic protocols

- Reviewing provider's schedules regularly to maximize capacity and verifying correct scheduling

- Maintain a good working relationship and effective communication with other departments within the organization

- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations
  • Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and some IT skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
