Senior Systems Engineer
Location: Kennesaw, GA (Onsite)
Position Type: Full-time

Tokio Marine HCC, a global power in the specialty insurance industry, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with a passion to learn, grow, build, and make an impact in our Corporate IT group. You will design, create, implement, monitor, and maintain all technologies or upgrades to the current infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, create, install, configure, and maintain current server operating systems and repair server hardware.
  • Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems
  • Identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective new or more effective technology solutions.
  • Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the current information systems.
  • Consult on and manage the appropriate setup of applications hosted on virtualized systems.
  • Responsible for planning, testing, tuning and configuration of Tokio Marine HCC server systems.
  • Provide level three support to the IT Service Center.
  • Develop appropriate documentation for application deployment, configuration, and related processes.
  • Work with IT Risk Management and security to reduce IT and business risk.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and response.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 8 plus years of relevant professional experience.
  • Working experience with Citrix, VMware, Dell servers, and Microsoft technologies.
  • Knowledge of Internet/Intranet technologies including security features.
  • Design, implementation, and management of Okta Identity and Access management platform.
  • Configure and customize Okta to meet authentication and authorization requirement.
  • Sound working knowledge of systems infrastructure and operations, including switching, routing, Ethernet, TCP/IP.
  • Robust working knowledge of remote access technology.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced organizational and analytical skills.
