The Principal Advisor, People Team, will focus on three main areas: Change Management, Internal Communications, and Employee Engagement. This position will play a pivotal role in driving our company's People strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role is a key people leadership team member and is responsible for leading the development and execution of effective change management strategies, fostering strong internal HR communications, and leading employee engagement strategy across the organization.

Responsibility
  1. Change Management: Lead the design and implementation of change management strategies that support the successful rollout of People Team initiatives and programs. This includes conducting impact analyses, focus groups, assessing change readiness, and managing stakeholder engagement.
  2. Internal HR Communications: Develop and execute best practices in internal HR communication that effectively inform and engage Myriad teammates. This includes partnering with internal communications/marketing team on crafting HR messages for various internal audiences and selecting the most effective communication channels. Managing the company calendar of HR events and communications.
  3. Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance employee experience and foster a positive work culture. This includes overseeing engagement surveys, analyzing results, and creating action plan templates/ideas for the business to execute based on feedback.
  4. People Team Strategic Projects: Drive strategic People Team projects in collaboration with People Team colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • At least seven years of related professional experience.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, with a focus on change management, internal communications, and employee engagement.
  • Exemplary critical thinking, strategic management and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated performance of taking complex, ambiguous items and putting them into a plan to execute.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively execute change management best practices.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others to set goals, manage projects and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute creative, far-reaching engagement strategies.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and independence.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for our business, improving healthcare and creating a great place to work.
