Job Summary The Learning Experience Specialist plays a key role in shaping how employees learn, grow, and connect company values to everyday work. This role supports the company's training and development initiatives through creative content design, learning management system (LMS) administration, and ongoing evaluation of training programs. Working alongside the Learning and Development Lead, this person will ensure every learning experience - whether it's a safety module, leadership course, or new hire orientation - is accurate, engaging, and aligned with company culture. The ideal candidate is part designer, part storyteller, and part systems thinker - equally comfortable editing content behind the scenes or stepping to the front of the room to lead an engaging session What You Will Do Own and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) - ensuring a seamless adult learner experience, accurate reporting, and timely updates. Design and refresh engaging learning experiences that help adult employees build both technical expertise and soft skills aligned with company culture. Review, edit, and enhance existing training programs to ensure accuracy, relevance, and creative engagement. Create dynamic content - from videos and animations to slide decks and microlearning modules - that make training more visual, accessible, and memorable. Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical content into clear, relatable learning that connects to real-world job performance. This role will also participate on Caddell's Training Committee. Lead occasional live sessions, such as New Employee Orientation or skill-based refreshers, with an emphasis on storytelling, culture building and connection. Evaluate training effectiveness using learner feedback, participation metrics, and performance data to recommend ongoing improvements. Ensure all training materials reflect company values, tone, and design standards - creating consistency across all programs. Promote the use of digital learning tools, including videos, quizzes, and simulations, to engage different learning styles and environments. Identify emerging learning needs and propose creative solutions that support continuous development across the company. This will be through a mix of conference attendance, training groups, etc. Champion a learner-first mindset, ensuring every program is practical, relevant, and inspires professional growth Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Education, Design, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2-4 years of experience in learning design, training coordination, or instructional development. Proficiency with LMS platforms preferred (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, or similar). Experience designing and producing multimedia learning content (video editing, visual design, or eLearning authoring tools). Excellent storytelling and communication skills - able to make complex topics simple and engaging. Comfortable facilitating small group trainings or workshops - virtual and in person - with confidence and authenticity. Highly organized with strong project management and follow-through abilities. Caddell uses Absorb LMS, Lattice for talent management and engagement, Articulate 360 for online course creation, and WebEx and Teams for our virtual conferencing platforms. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to handle conflicting tasks in a high-volume environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel, experience in payroll software preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to critically analyze situations and recognize problem areas and identify steps for resolving these issues. Must be able to handle multiple payroll cycles. While the salary range is typically between $49,100 - $73,600 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process.
