Job Position: Introductory Employee Location: Hilton Head Island, SC 29926 Pay Rate: $16.00/hr Shift: Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm Job Summary: Our staffing firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Technician for a client in the tools and equipment industry located in Hilton Head, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to start a career in technical services. The selected candidate will assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of tools and machinery while receiving hands-on training from experienced technicians. Key Responsibilities: Support routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of tools, machinery, and equipment Assist with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior technicians Ensure tools, workspaces, and equipment are clean and organized for safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately Assist in the assembly and disassembly of equipment for testing or repair Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and deliver quality service Participate in on-the-job training and skill development Provide basic customer service by answering inquiries or directing customers as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Good communication and teamwork abilities Ability to follow instructions from senior team members Basic knowledge of tools and machinery (prior experience is a plus but not required) Reliable transportation Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods
