**Position:**
Join LAUSD as a Cyber Security Engineer III and be part of our mission to provide innovative education solutions. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the security and integrity of our district's IT infrastructure.
**Responsibilities:**
- Plan, manage, and design security infrastructure to safeguard critical systems and data.
- Administer and maintain IT security systems, ensuring their optimal performance and effectiveness.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to improve enterprise security posture and resilience.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Six years of recent experience in security device engineering for large organizations.
- Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security or equivalent, Cisco Certified CyberOps Professional, Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation level, and Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
