Molecular Search are currently working with a growing CDMO in Maryland, specialising in the development and manufacture of pharmaceutical products and medical devices. They are currently looking for a HR Senior Director to join their dynamic team.Responsibilities: Be immersed in the business, understanding how the organization works to ensure HR added value. Be an employee advocate, ensuring all employees are equally represented and have an avenue to voice concerns and come to a reasonable conclusion. Be creative in managing headcount to ensure departmental needs are addressed while controlling cost. Develop a robust recruitment process focused on quality and time to fill metrics. Be a conduit for employee communications and fostering an inclusive environment. Establish and communicate company policies and procedures. Stay abreast of current state and federal labor laws and requirements. Represent the company in labor related issues (unemployment, EEOC,) collaborating with legal resources as needed. Coordinate with the training manager 'best practice' management training, offering supervisors training plans and or supervisor training sessions. Oversee the Exit Interview process, sharing results and trends with the Leadership Team on a quarterly basis. Manage the Worker Compensation Program, to ensure employees are well cared for and return back to work when medically feasible. Oversee the EHS function to ensure OSHA records and reporting are done in a timely fashion. Design and deliver Employee Benefit plans that are perceived as a positive retention and recruitment tool. Oversee and understand the immigration process (legal work authorization, Green Card, etc.) to ensure a stable work force and mitigate risk. Review and improve the efficiency of the HR department. Assist in special projects as required. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in human resources, or equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience. Demonstrated business acumen in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment. SHRM Certification desired. Experience in successfully managing complex technical issues using structured analysis and methodology and articulating clear and concise direction to other operations staff. Strong experience with project and people management. Able to administer personnel performance evaluations. Demonstrates good leadership skills and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other departments, including vendors, colleagues, and subordinates. Demonstrates the appropriate technical knowledge necessary to make sound decisions on development issues with minimal supervision. Demonstrate the ability to analyze data and information and assess and resolve complex problems/issues as required. Must be able to comprehend and follow all applicable SOPs. Demonstrate the ability to acquire the appropriate knowledge from resources on the current federal, local, and international regulations regarding the production, testing, and release of drug substances and products. Demonstrate the ability to acquire the appropriate knowledge from resources on cGMPs, industry, and regulatory standards and guidelines. Demonstrate familiarity with Microsoft programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, Outlook, etc. Demonstrate the ability to portray the appropriate level of integrity and professionalism. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, regulators, and client representatives in written and verbal formats. Demonstrate the ability to complete tasks accurately and according to established and shifting timelines. Demonstrate the ability to make quality scheduling, resource allocation, and priorities decisions. Energetic, execution-focused, self-motivated, and organized individual who is accustomed to working in a deadline-focused, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment. Results-oriented and efficient.
