Job Description Summary GE Aerospace is looking for a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer to help drive the adoption of our SaaS solutions for commercial aviation customers across Europe, with occasional support for clients in the Middle East and Africa. In this role, you'll work closely with sales teams, product managers, and customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored technical solutions that meet their business goals. You'll showcase the value of our SaaS offerings through product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution designs, while ensuring all solutions meet GE Aerospace's high standards for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). While up to 40% travel to visit customers is required, we also offer the flexibility to be based from home in either the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain or Hungary. www.geaerospace.com/systems/saas #LI-BE1 Key Responsibilities Serve as the technical subject matter expert for GE Aerospace's SaaS solutions, providing in-depth knowledge of product features, architecture, and integration capabilities. Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements, challenges, and goals, translating them into tailored SaaS solutions. Develop and present technical solutions that align with customer needs, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards. Deliver engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the value and capabilities of GE Aerospace's SaaS offerings. Lead PoC initiatives, guiding customers through the evaluation process and ensuring successful implementation of trial solutions. Work closely with product management and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence product development. Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, integration guides, and FAQs, to support the sales process. Provide training and technical enablement to sales teams and partners, ensuring they are equipped to articulate the value of SaaS solutions. Ensure all proposed solutions adhere to GE Aerospace's SQDC priorities, with safety as the top priority. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Aerospace or other relevant field. Proven experience in a flight, technical pre-sales or solutions engineering role, in a SaaS or cloud-based business. Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel up to 40% of time to visit customers Desired Skills Strong background in software architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and API integration. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and familiarity with SaaS platforms.
