Responsibilities

The Clinical Nutritionist promotes holistic wellness through the coordination of health and wellness services which includes resources, support structure, coaching and education to optimize the health and wellness of program participants/patients. This individual promotes excellence by improving the participant's outcomes. The Clinical Nutritionist is responsible for delivering direct education, coaching and guidance to program participants of all literacy levels The Clinical Nutritionist must be able to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain participant confidentiality and exhibit excellent customer service skills including effective listening, critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a changing environment.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Three years in specialty area
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Dietitian (State) (KY)
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (National)


Desired:
  • Master Degree
