UPM's rapidly growing Additive Manufacturing Sector is looking to add CNC Machinists to their 1st shift team. $1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90-days. Working Hours: 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:30am FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Starting Pay Rate: $23 - $25, depending on experience As a Machinist, you will: Serve as a subject matter expert on customer manufacturing specifications to create machine programming Set up, troubleshoot, and operate machinery according to strict tolerances. Machines include Milling Centers, Blanchard Grinders, VTL and EDM. Demonstrate expertise in fixture design and tooling Examine and measure completed units, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors Exercise strong problem-solving ability for the inspection and repair of machinery Other duties as assigned Benefits Provided Tuition Reimbursement 401 (k) Matching Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 2 Weeks Mixed PTO Paid Holidays Quarterly Bonus Program Provided Uniforms Skills Needed 2 years of experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools, and machines Master operator of various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining Ability to design and create proper fixturing. Ability to proficiently set up and use measuring equipment including CMM, CAD-Cam, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Calipers, Profilometers, etc. Expert in reading and interpreting blueprints and design sketches Ability to create and maintain updated work processes related to machining Familiar with warehouse, manufacturing, or production planning environments You should be proficient in: Basic Computer Skills Machines & technologies you'll use: CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Haas) EDM Machine (Wire) Manual Grinder Salary info: $23 - $25 / hr
