About the Team
We are the TikTok E-Commerce Affiliate engineering team. Our focus is on the algorithm engineering of the E-Commerce affiliate platform, which connects merchants and creators for transactions. Our responsibilities include product and creator search, recommendation, product strategy, and more. Join us to delve into TikTok's e-commerce business and the functioning of TikTok's recommendation system.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain the service architecture of TikTok e-commerce and related ToB side search, recommendation, and other complex businesses.
Provide high-performance, high-availability, and flexible architecture design for complex business scenarios, ensuring high-quality code implementation aligned with product and strategic requirements.
Optimize existing business systems, enhance system weaknesses, and elevate overall business architecture quality, service performance, and stability.
Abstract common business architectures based on actual business needs, enhance basic capabilities' reusability, and bolster support for rapid business iteration.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or above
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of back-end or architecture experience
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in at least one mainstream back-end language such as Go, C++, or Java
Strong business abstraction and architecture design skills
Familiarity with common design patterns and architectural concepts
Knowledge of the latest industry technology trends
Experience with mainstream KV (Redis, MongoDB, HBase, Couchbase), ElasticSearch, and vector retrieval architecture
Understanding of message queues, rule engines, and underlying storage
Experience with large-scale complex distributed system architecture
Experience in search and recommendation systems (preferred)
Soft Skills:
Strong problem analysis, cross-team communication, and coordination skills (preferred)
