Salary/Hourly Rate:

$75k - $80k plus 5% Bonus

Position Overview:

This is a NEW position and is open due to growth within the company. As the Electronic Transaction Specialist, you will be given ownership of this department and assist with the direction as well. This Electronic Transaction Specialist will ensure our organization's accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)/cXML/FlatFile processes. The Electronic Transaction Specialist is responsible for the quality of electronic data interchange (EDI) programs and applications within a company's business system. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining quality control measures to guarantee the integrity of EDI/cXML/FlatFile data transmissions. The schedule is from Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm.

Responsibilities of the Electronic Transaction Specialist:

Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance strategies for processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electronic transactions, including document mapping, translation, and data transformation. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in data exchange. Error Analysis and Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve electronic transaction errors, exceptions, and failures promptly and effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT, Operations, and Customer Service, to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance electronic transaction systems' efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. Propose and implement process enhancements to optimize performance and minimize errors. Compliance and Standards: Stay current with industry regulations, communication standards (such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, cXML), and best practices. Ensure adherence to applicable compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, EDIINT AS2, or GDPR. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of relevant processes, including technical specifications, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Keep records of test plans, test results, and issue resolutions. Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement system enhancements. Provide guidance and support to business users and technical teams involved in the processes. Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users, helping them understand and effectively utilize the system. Address user queries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth electronic transaction operations. Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement monitoring tools and metrics to track the performance and reliability of electronic transaction processes. Proactively identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions as needed. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in EDI/cXML and related areas. Participate in professional development activities, attend conferences, and network with industry professionals to enhance your skills and knowledge. Qualifications for the Electronic Transaction Specialist:

Strong knowledge and understanding of electronic transaction concepts, standards, and protocols (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, cXML, etc.). Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, and Java) for data analysis and transformation is a bonus. Familiarity with data mapping tools and concepts. Solid understanding of quality assurance methodologies, testing techniques, and defect tracking systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Two years of hands-on experience working with Electronic Transaction technologies. Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or relevant experience. Benefits:
