LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Manufacturing client to help fill a Manufacture Engineer position. This position provides an opportunity to expand your skillset within a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for reviewing requirements, creating comprehensive test plans, and ensuring the quality of mechanical components.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the costs associated with materials, labor, and equipment required for the manufacturing process.
  • Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects.
  • Create detailed plans outlining the step-by-step manufacturing process.
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in the production process.
  • Design the layout of the manufacturing facility considering safety, accessibility, and efficiency in the arrangement of machinery and workstations.
  • Generate detailed drawings and schematics for the assembly of mechanical components.
  • Provide technical support to production teams to diagnose and resolve mechanical challenges to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure equipment operates within specified parameters to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions between different manufacturing processes.
  • Implement strategies to optimize processes and minimize expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among team members.
  • Implement procedures for inspecting and testing products to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Identify and address issues related to the assembly process.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to mechanical products.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness over time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience within a manufacturing setting.
  • Quality & Safety Driven.
  • Analytical.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
