Responsibilities: Provide Collaborative Nursing Support- including support in the queue, lab follow-up calls, administrative tasks Maintain Efficient Patient Flow Room Patients Take Vitals Perform Lab Draws Administer Appropriate Injections Other Duties as Requested or Assigned Qualifications:Medical Assistant - Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program Current CPR Certification is Required Current Certified MA or Registered MA is Preferred (must be willing to obtain certification/registration within 6 months of hire) 2-3 Years of Experience Preferred, Oncology Experience Helpful Clinical Assistant - Current CPR Certification is Required 2-3 Years of Experience Preferred, Oncology Experience Helpful One of the Following is Required: Diploma or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant ProgramEmergency Medical Technician (EMT)Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with 1 year direct care experienceAdditional Attributes: Strong Desire to Learn Flexibility Ability to Multi-task Can Successfully Prioritize Tasks Strong Organizational Skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Self-Starter PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
