About this role:
Hennepin County is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join their dynamic team at the NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center.
Responsibilities:
As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting chairside with various procedures, including diagnostic, oral surgery, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, pedodontics, and restorative procedures.
You will also perform expanded functions such as digital radiographs, impressions, and bite registrations, mechanically polish teeth, place sealants, and fabricate temporary crowns.
In addition, you will deliver exceptional service to patients, demonstrate competency in electronic dental records, and maintain dental department areas in compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have completion of an accredited program as a Dental Assistant and possession of a valid license or eligibility for licensure as a Dental Assistant by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry.
Experience in providing culturally sensitive care to patients of diverse backgrounds and knowledge of age-related growth and development principles are highly valued.

This is a full-time, benefit-earning position with a dynamic team of culturally responsive and compassionate professionals.
Location:
The positions are located at the NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center with the potential to work at the satellite clinic.
