Responsibilities:
Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs standards
ct as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & develop, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects
Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA/508 Accessibility standards
Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates
Design and develop UI and UX interfaces and assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews
Develop reusable and responsive, interactive patterns and code libraries that meet the highest W3 standards for HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of frontend designs into the JS/Java codebase

Required skills:
High School or GED PLUS 2+ years of SWD experience.
Deep experience in front-end web application development with strong hands on programming experience with at least one language: Java, JavaScript, React, VUE, Angular on LAMP/MEAN/MERN stack is required.
Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end user needs
Knowledge and software development with Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint and WordPress CMS will be a plus.
History of working with cross functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end user needs
Experience with communicating and working with business, technology users to create holistic solutions
Skills, knowledge, and experience using end to end Human centered design-HCD techniques including design, research, and usability

Preferred Skills:
UI/UX design or web developer certifications & training
Previous experience of the Electric and Gas Utility Industry
Knowledge and software development with Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint and WordPress CMS will be a plus.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or applicable business degree from an accredited university OR Relevant business technical experience
Exposure to front end user frameworks (Vue.js, AngularJS, ReactJS, jQuery, etc.)
Experience working within agile ceremonies and methodologies
