Production Engineer
to join a dynamic and expanding team in
Little Rock, AR, United States.
As a Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and optimizing the factory's production processes. We are seeking a candidate with a strong engineering aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to maximize production efficiency. Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee all aspects of production within the factory.
Conduct a comprehensive assessment and analysis of current production methods to identify areas for improvement.
Using analysis results, work with production and engineering teams to develop innovative production improvements aimed at optimizing efficiency and reducing costs.
Maximize the productivity of machinery and workers to achieve production goals.
Ensure compliance with product specifications and enforce quality control measures.
Determine the selection and placement of machines, tools, equipment, etc., within the facility for optimal workflow.
Assess and report workforce requirements to leadership; create training plans to optimize people and processes
Continuously strive to increase speed and efficiency without compromising product quality or safety.
Design and implement effective quality control measures to monitor products and ensure desired outcomes.
Oversee and troubleshoot any breakdowns or production issues, including identifying human errors.
Develop safety protocols and educate employees on proper machinery operation techniques.
Collaborate with the hiring of technicians to maintain equipment for maximum safety and efficiency.
Ensure projects are executed within set budgetary plans and schedule.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering; master's degree preferred.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in
production/industrial
engineering, with managerial experience being a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to direct and motivate cross-functional teams effectively.
Detail-oriented and highly efficient in managing multiple tasks and projects.
Capability to maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients.
