As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we're looking for an experienced MANUFACTURING ENGINEER.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage multiple engineering projects that support plant operations. These projects will range from process improvements to development and installation of new tooling. Represent CLI in a professional manner with customers and suppliers at all levels of their organization Active leader in problem solving analysis and developing irreversible corrective actions of quality issues Teach, lead and continuously improve all areas of the business Responsible to lead line balancing and process changes for current and future operations Interface with all aspects of operations including quality, materials and maintenance Ability to be flexible Understand CLI operations (Sequencing/sub -assembly, shipping and receiving) Interface with CLI plant liaisons on a daily basis regarding any issues Follow and improve the CLI business systems Ability to work well in a team environment and have a positive attitude Effectively interact with, lead and develop people Work very closely with the other engineers to ensure continuity Customer focused Able to work with and effectively communicate with operators on the floor as well as CLI ManagementPOSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.A minimum of five (5) years of experience in assembly and/or manufacturing and demonstrated success as a person who solves problems.A minimum of three (3) years of experience with the APQP system.VAA or manufacturing experience.Plant and assembly cell layout.Experience with Elemental Time Studies and Value Stream Mapping.Start-Up, Equipment Installation and Launch experience required.Experience with PLC.Understanding and experience of assembly tooling and equipment and ROBOTICS.Tier 1 automotive experience is required.Sub-assembly and Sequencing experience are required.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Solid verbal and written communication skills.Comprehensive Logistics Co., LLC (CLI) is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
