We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Engineer Manager / Operations Manager to lead our Enterprise IT services team with a focus on Exchange, Active Directory, Web Services, and SharePoint. This role requires deep technical expertise in these core Microsoft technologies along with strong operational leadership capabilities to manage a team responsible for VDI, desktop patching, and imaging.

HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEERING MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT ● Team Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of system engineers and operations staff. Oversee day-to-day operations, including task assignment, managing backlog of efforts and prioritizing implementation, performance management, and professional development. ● Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain Exchange, Active Directory, Web Services, and SharePoint environments. Ensure high availability, security, and performance of these critical systems. Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue resolution. ● Operational Support: Provide operational support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments. Manage desktop patching schedule and imaging processes to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to VDI, desktop environments, and system integrations. ●Project Management: Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution and deployment. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved within scope and budget. ●Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, operational procedures, and policies. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements ● This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where innovation and continuous improvement are encouraged. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: ● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science ● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience ● Required Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, and Web Services administration and architecture. ● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly ● Required Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of VDI technologies (e.g.Citrix Virtual Apps), desktop patching, and imaging processes. ● Preferred Skills: Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level IT infrastructure. ● Solid project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. ● Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. ● Technical certifications ● Location: On Site ● US Citizenship Required
