We encourage anyone who shares our values to apply todayWe are proud to offer our employees:Apprenticeship and Comprehensive Training ProgramsPaid Holidays Upon HireCompetitive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHSA with Employer ContributionPaid Time OffCompany Paid Short-Term Disability & Life InsuranceSafety Bonus ProgramEmployee Stock Ownership ProgramWork Travel IncentiveHoliday BonusAnd so much moreResponsibilities:The Senior Controls Engineer/Team Leader is responsible for completing jobs relating to machine controls on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of customer needs.Responsible for managing, mentoring, and developing controls engineers and panel builders.Develop and manage accurate and competitive project cost estimates from conceptual design through completion.Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop cost estimates.Responsible for working with multiple departments from concept through release phase, with accountability for project execution.Provide technical support to external and internal customers.Perform electrical hardware and software design of customized solutions based on engineering principles.Monitor project workflow and support resources to ensure timely delivery of projects.Excellent customer communication, leadership, and teamwork skillsAs needed, travel to customer sites for installation and startup support of custom machinery and automationQualifications:Requires a bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience, Bachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 10-years of controls experience plus management experience with increasing responsibility and dutiesStrong knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial systemsExceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.Proficient with MS Office applicationsProficient with AutoCADProficient with current and legacy PLC and HMI platforms, including but not limited to, Allen Bradley and SiemensTechnical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment and machinery.Knowledge of presses and press automation preferred.Valid Driver's LicenseThis job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, and nothing herein restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at anytime.
