Ecolab is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst/Senior Accountant to join our Kennesaw finance team. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries and assuring successful month-end closing.

What You Will Do

Perform day to day and monthly accounting activities including, but not limited to Journal Entries in GL, accruals and variance analysis into ERP (Datacor). Perform subledger reconciliations in accordance with Global Accounting Policy. Manage the accounts payable process, reconciling the PO to the receiving documents to the invoice – investigating differences, ensuring payables are correctly coded and posted timely. Prepare daily customer invoicing, including verification of the customer and product information in accordance with corporate accounting policies. Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis to support the Sales and Marketing teams. Assist in the preparation of Forecasts and Annual Budget Reconcile fixed assets and prepare monthly journal entries for amortization and depreciation. Prepare and analyze daily/weekly/monthly plant statistics and provide analysis of labor and productivity. Prepare variance reports for inventory counts and instruct on recounts per plant standards, including quarterly inventory obsolescence review and any reserve calculation. Perform annual review of vendor and customer data in local ERP to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, includes verification of payment terms.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4 years of Accounting experience No immigration sponsorship available for this opportunity

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or CPA Financial analysis experience in management reporting, planning and analysis Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly proficient in MS Excel Attention to detail with proactive independent work style Result oriented, proactive and possesses a high level of integrity
