Maintenance Tech - 2nd Shift (2PM-10PM) Job Summary Responsible for equipment repairs, operations, safe production standards, and day-to-day functioning of the machines and tools critical to the organization. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Conducts PM's on machines Inspects equipment and systems for any issues Completes Day to Day maintenance repairs Follows all company policies and procedures as outlined in the company handbook Follows all departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) Promotes and maintains a clean and organized department and working area. Communicates any and all safety issues, incidents and near misses observed. Reports major problems with machinery and downtime to the Supervisor Position Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent qualification Previous Mechanical or Electrical Experience - minimum of 2 years Effective problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job; bending, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 40 pounds Ability to work a flexible schedule for overtime and weekends Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere Willingness to learn and develop new skills Willingness to be accountable for the level of quality produced Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, reading and comprehension.
