Desired results of the job:

Assists the shipping function of the Distribution Center with data entry, printing labels, pick tickets and packing lists.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Process, print, and sort shipping labels * Key in tasks and print picking tickets and packing lists * Review orders for special instructions * Provide back up to dispatch as needed * Maintain inventory of shipping labels and ribbons * Maintain shipping label printers * Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

* Education: High School Diploma * English language skills: Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English * Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide * Physical Demands essential to the job: Able to lift maximum of 40lbs * Work environment: office and warehouse * Basic understanding and use of MS Word and MS Excel applications

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in warehouse environment * Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. * Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers. * Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. * Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
