This position offers the chance to build a strong revenue cycle team and set the organization up for future success. Responsibilities Personnel and Operations Management:

Oversee daily operations of business office functions, including patient accounting, billing, switchboard, coordinating third-party payors, data entry, and credit and collections. Systems and Processes:

Plan, approve, and supervise the deployment of systems and processes to manage and analyze financial data and other records. Training and Development:

Create, maintain, and administer training and professional development programs for the patient access and revenue cycle team to enhance staff knowledge and skills.

Qualifications Education: Degree in business or a related field, and/or up to five (5) years of on-the-job experience in the business operation of a medical facility or clinic. Experience: Five years' experience in the business operation of a medical facility or clinic, preferred. Three to five years' experience working in a supervisory capacity, with responsibility for day-to-day activities of staff and evaluations, required. Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital is required. Experience with electronic health record systems is required. Required Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation, preferred provider plans, and HMO plans, including their regulations and billing practices. Familiarity with commercial insurance regulations and billing practices. Proficiency with electronic health record systems. Proficiency in computer skills and medical billing software. Accurate coding capabilities relative to reimbursement. Ability to maintain professional communication with staff, department heads, physicians, and the public. Ability to maintain cooperative and harmonious relationships with staff, administration, medical staff, and outside clinic office personnel.
