Job DescriptionThe Director, Head of Global Benefits oversees global (40 jurisdictions across the Americas, EMEA and APAC) benefits strategy and philosophy by driving the development, management and recognition of the value global benefits brings to Kroll colleagues.Reporting to the Global Head of Rewards, this role collaborates with leadership across the organization to align benefits with Kroll values and culture. Ensures effective and efficient operations for global benefits while mentoring, coaching, and developing the global benefits team.Day-to-day responsibilities:Develops, maintains and scales global benefits strategies while providing benefits that meet the varied needs of Kroll employees with mindfulness of local regulations, company culture, and business requirementsCreates, maintains, or exceeds a market competitive benefits program to help attract and retain talentDevelops communication tools and documents, driving effective communication of benefit strategies and programsOrganize, create, and maintain standard operating procedures, including system and process documentationBuilds benefit programs that are committed to ensuring the long-term success of our people, our organizationDevelops and manages cost-effective ways to attain and administer global benefit programs in locally relevant waysSuccessfully oversees the integration and harmonization of benefits packages for colleagues joining Kroll through acquisitionBuilds recognition for the value that global benefits bring to KrollLeadership and oversight of benefit vendors (i.e. brokers, consultants, insurance carriers, record-keepers), trustees and other administrative and/or legislative agencies; evaluate and recommend outside business partners based on performance and value to support Kroll benefit requirementsEssential traits:Bachelor's Degree B.S./MBA is requiredTen (10) plus years of experience in benefits with a focus on building and managing business aligned benefit programs; preferably gained while working for a global, matrixed organization or equivalentAn energetic leader, comfortable driving a culture of continuous improvement in a fast paced growing organizationStrong experience in design and implementation of benefits programs across multiple geographiesAnalytical skills to review and assess benefits packages from acquired companies, to recommend approaches to harmonization and to successfully implement integration of colleagues form acquired companies.Proven, influential leadership and relationship building skillsAbility to work with other areas such as HR Business Partners, Finance, Communications, HR Shared Services and communicate in a way that is understandable to othersDemonstrated flexibility and efficient time management with the ability to prioritize workload with the ability to operate in a face-paced environment with competing prioritiesStrong focus on driving operational excellence through the develop of scalable administration processes and the utilization of appropriate technology solutions.Knowledge of integrating benefits technology solutions with various HRIS, payroll, vendors and carrier systemsFlexible and comfortable to roll-up your sleeves, used to being hands-onExtraordinary communication skills - both oral and writtenStrong coaching, mentoring, and staff development skillsAbout KrollJoin the global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions-Kroll.
