Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated person for our Sr. Manager - Supply Chain. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience in Supply Chain Management and contribute to the success of a dynamic organization. The Sr. Manager - Supply Chain will lead and oversee our company's supply chain operations (planning, purchasing, shipping and receiving, and warehouse management). The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives and new systems to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. This individual will provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain team and work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and drive continuous improvement, identifying and implementing new systems as needed to meet these objectives.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
  • Implement robust processes and systems to enhance visibility and control throughout the supply chain.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain and compliance risks, ensuring continuity of operations and timely delivery of products.
  • Establish and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor supply chain performance and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
  • At least four years of experience being responsible for a logistics department, preferably involving the shipping of dangerous goods both domestically and internationally.
  • At least four years of experience being responsible for a production planning department, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Expert in Import/Export regulations.
  • Experience with using freight forwarders to Asia.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain principles, practices, and processes, with expertise in logistics, inventory management, and procurement.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skill, with demonstrated ability to inspire and motive teams to achieve goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions to achieve results.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Ability to collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with employees, business partners, and customers.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phone.
