What You Do

What You Do

Coordinate and execute leave management informational meetings, leave enrollment (STD, LTD, FMLA), and provide excellent team member leave management support at all levels of the organization.

As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also:
  • Establish strong team member relations, at all levels and provide support for people development, coaching, and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusion
  • Work closely with advisors from Mazda and Toyota
  • Serve as the main point of contact for team member FMLA, STD, and/or LTD questions and assistance
  • Coordinate with Benefits Specialist on transition from returning to work or end of leave to termination status
  • Assist with vendor relationships and complete appropriate problem solving and performance measurements to achieve plan administration goals and compliance
  • Assist in benefit leave analysis, projections, and reporting
  • Collaborate with Benefits Specialist to ensure/incentivize team member engagement and ownership in preventative care and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Coordinate with internal resources to provide seamless benefit support to team members
  • Ensure legal requirements are adhered to for medical management, HIPPA and leave management
  • Oversee medical management software
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the department
  • Be available to work outside of normal work schedule, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and travel as needed (domestically and internationally)
What You Bring
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication skills; collaborative mindset; customer service skills
  • Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential information
What Will Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Nursing, Occupational Health, or related field and/or a relevant medical certification
  • 3+ years' experience in an occupational health/medical management role in a manufacturing environment or related field
  • Experience with Workday or other HRIS leave management system
  • Project management experience with capability to develop, lead and prioritize work, meet milestones, gain consensus, and report out status of projects
